In a maker or an editor step, jobs get randomly assigned to users by default.
You can also manually assign a set of jobs to an annotator, or reassign a job to someone else if an annotator is not actively working on the job.
The Job assignment table shows:
a) Job ID: ID of the job.
b) User ID: Annotator who is working on the Job.
c) Type: Assignment type for the job. It is random by default and changes to manual if you assign or reassign the job to another annotator.
d) Last updated: The time an annotator was last seen active on the job.
e) Last assigned: The time a job was last assigned to an annotator.
f) Status: The current status of the job, it can be:
Not started: If the annotator has not started working on the Job.
Saved: If the annotator saves and exits.
Live: The user is currently working on the job.
Exited: If the annotator exits and discards any changes made.
g) Time spent: Total time spent on the job.
Tips: If you reassign a job to another annotator, the work done on the job gets saved. Thus, the new annotator can continue where the original annotator left.
