We are phasing out our SaaS offering — GT Studio

A year ago, Playment anticipated the need for a plug-and-play labeling platform among long-tail AI innovators and large enterprise customers. We decided to extend our in-house labeling platform as a SaaS offering, and in March 2021, we announced the global launch of our web-based data labeling platform — GT Studio.

Over the last six months, we kept close tabs on the adoption and usage of our platform. We were humbled by the support we received from our community of users. However, over time, we have identified that data labeling is a two-fold offering including, a robust labeling platform coupled with reliable project management and workforce options.

After further considerations, we made another hard call to serve our customers better. As of today, we are officially announcing the shutdown of our platform — GT Studio. We are incredibly grateful for your trust in our platform and your commitment to helping us grow our product with valuable feedback.

We will continue to service AI innovators globally with our existing fully managed labeling solution that is compatible with computer vision use cases across industries.

We understand how critical labeling pipelines are to your business. The Playment team is working on phasing out the platform as seamlessly as possible, ensuring minimal disruption to your data pipelines.

What does this mean for you?

GT Studio will continue to function as usual till the 31st of December, 2021 after which you will not be able to access the platform or your labeled data. We request you to plan your labeling pipelines accordingly and export all your labeled data and workflow configurations before the end of this year.
