Set up a Project
What is a Project?
A project is a management environment where you can manage the annotation data, quality, and progress of your annotation projects.
Now let's see how to create a project! β¨
Create a Project
To create a project, click on Create New Project and enter the project details.
a) Project Name: A unique name to differentiate this project from the other projects present in your workspace. Example: Night Image Object Detection.
b) Project Nickname: Name that will appear on GT Create where annotators work on projects. It is useful if you want to hide the actual project name from your workforce. Example: Project Marvel
c) Assign a team member: Assign yourself or one of the team members from your organization as a Team Member who will be responsible for managing this project
d) Base Type: Assign the base type to the project based on the annotation types below π
Base Type | Annotation types |

2D Bounding Box tracking 2D Cuboid tracking Polygon tracking Line tracking Landmark tracking |
Note: You canβt change the Base-type, name, nickname, and team member assigned after project creation.
Invite Team
Working as a team on the GT Studio is much better than working in silos. Invite some members of your company to test features like groups, comments, job assignment, etc.
